Easy Desperado

December 2006. The Commodores' "Easy" vs The Eagles' "Desperado".

The Living Truth

February 2006. Cat Power's "Living Proof" vs Matthew Sweet's "The Ugly Truth".

Yoshimi Battles Novocaine

January 2006. Green Day's "Get Me Novocaine", Flaming Lips' "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt 1", and Eels "Novocaine for the Soul".

Hold On to Your Halo

October 2005. Depeche Mode's "Halo" vs En Vogue's "Hold On" with a piece from INXS' "Devil Inside". (I like this one a lot.)

BJ's Head

July 2005. Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" vs Nine Inch Nails' "Head Like a Hole". (Another in the "almost works" category.)

Weapon in the Shadows of Love

April 2005. Matthew Good's "Weapon" vs the Four Tops' "Standing in the Shadows of Love".

Let Keane In

March 2005. Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" vs Paul McCartney and Wings' "Let 'Em In", with a splash of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's "Summertime". (Maybe my most popular mash.)

DJ Prince - Hey We Will Rock Ya [FaultSide Edit]

December 2004. A very minor patch edit (using DJ Prince's first draft) to fix a minor clash in the middle of the verses.

Gwen's Alarm Clock

November 2004. Gwen Stefani's "What You Waiting For" vs The Alarm's "Rain the Summertime". Quickly thrown together pop mash. (Almost works. Almost.)

(Tell Me) What You Waiting For

November 2004. Gwen Stefani's "What You Waiting For" vs Sugar's "And You Tell Me". Takes Gwen and makes her rock. Seems to clash at times, but I like it.

Beneath a Tidal Wave

November 2004. A "mash-up original", featuring Lenlow's "Sweet Child O Ravi" with original lyrics and vocals.

The [Dark] Gloaming

October 2004. Radiohead's "The Gloaming" versus tracks by Tool, Korn, Tesla, Nine Inch Nails, and Pearl Jam. Very weird.

The Morning Glory I Love

September 2004. R.E.M.'s "The One I Love" meets Oasis' "Morning Glory". Turns into an amped-up version of the R.E.M. classic. (This is a popular one.)

Miracle on Threadneedle Street

July 2004. A cover of Blur's "Threadneedle Street", using Jimmy Eat World's "Last Christmas" and a few bits from Rita Coolidge's "All Time High". (Completed prior to the Shamrocks.) Included on Parkspliced.

Sham Over Rock

June 2004. More or less a cover of Blur's "Clover Over Dover". Basically, "Shamrock Scent Snibe" with vocals.

Shamrock Scent Snibe

June 2004. Sunny Day Real Estate's "Snibe", Nirvana's "Scentless Apprentice", and House of Pain's "Shamrocks and Shenanigans" (plus some random guitar work by yours truly) come together to form something completely different.

One Minute Street Spirit

May 2004. Radiohead's "Street Spirit" layered over CIV's "Can't Wait One Minute More". (The short rap at the beginning and the Chemical Brothers sample are from the previous Boot in 60 Seconds track.)

Hysteria in Vain 2

April 2004. In a review of London Booted, someone described "Hysteria in Vain" as "Mick Jones sings Def Leppard". They must have been thinking of the other "Hysteria". So, as a gag, I threw together a short piece of a second "Hysteria in Vain", using the Def Leppard tune.

Hysteria in Vain

April 2004. UK rock band Muse ("Hysteria") meets The Clash ("Train in Vain"). Graciously included as a bonus track on the bootleg/remix project London Booted, which remixes every track from the Clash's seminal London Calling album. (Muse fans like this one.)

No More This Love

February 2004. My first mash. TRL darlings Maroon 5 ("This Love") meet techno-punk from God Lives Underwater ("No More Love"). Frightens the kids at the Maroon 5 message boards, which can't be a bad thing.
